I really like Star Trek. It's a guilty pleasure, though; the idea that mankind can cross tribal boundaries is cute, but unrealistic, especially given the motivation Roddenberry gave us; self improvement. I think we all remember how Tyler Durden described that concept, and he had a point.

Anyhow, DS9 is growing on me quite a bit. The first several seasons are nothing to write home about, but it really starts improving towards the end. Looking forward to finishing it.
